DVClub is a networking club for Design and Verification engineers.
The principal goal of DVClub is to have fun while helping build the verification community through quarterly educational and networking events. DVClub currently has chapters in Austin, Bangalore, Boston, Dallas, RTP, San Diego, and Silicon Valley.
While DVClub is made possible by our three generous sponsors, Cadence, Veriseo and Doulos, what makes DVClub a truly great organization is the participation of its members. Everyone that attends events is encouraged to offer ideas for topics, speakers, and venues. This can be done either through our forum or by contacting DVClub organizers.
DVClub membership is free and is open to all non-service provider semiconductor professionals. Most members work in verification, but there are also plenty of entrepreneurs, professors, students, managers, investors, and even design engineers that attend. Participation by service providers (solicitors) is limited to event sponsors, which supply the funds for DVClub events.
Events generally involve lunch followed by a technical program and time to network. These lunches are held quarterly and are free. Topics vary, but the core focus is end user verification stories, verification technology, and speculation on chosen career paths.
