The Open SystemC Initiative is a not-for-profit association dedicated to advancing SystemC™ as an open standard for system-level modeling, design, and verification. Ratified as IEEE 1666™-2005 Standard SystemC, SystemC is used for architectural exploration, to deliver high-performance interoperable models of hardware blocks at various levels of abstraction and to develop virtual platforms for hardware/software co-design.
