- RAVEN is an intuitive environment for rapidly building sophisticated test templates. The templates are used to verify complex processor functionality. RAVEN can generate thousands of useful, random tests from a single template. Randomly generated tests can reach into difficult corner cases and discover problems the developer did not think of during the design phase, and create more robust tests then a verification engineer could do manually. RAVEN has been used successfully on CISC, RISC, DSP and VLIW designs.
