Tutorial 5 - Transaction-based Modeling and Verification with SystemC
Presenter: Kurt Schwartz - Willamette HDL, Inc.

The SystemC™ class library for C++ provides designers with the simulation performance and abstract modeling capabilities needed to effectively model and verify large systems. Specifically, writing models at the transaction level provides a design team with an executable platform for: A) early software development on the target architecture; B) early verification of architecture; and C) consistent verification throughout hardware refinement.

This tutorial will introduce the existing capabilities of SystemC™ 2.0 for describing systems at the transaction level as well as new verification extensions from the Open SystemC™ Initiative.
